Intro to Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 is more than just your email. It’s your central point to access all kinds of tools, applications, resources and collaboration. This article is your introduction to Microsoft 365. With your Business Premium license, you get access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and much more. Even better, you get 10 licenses (each) for the desktop and web versions of all the main line Office applications. This document is designed to get you logged in and quickly up and running.
Logging in for the first time
Your username: your organizational email
Your Password: sent out by Microsoft
The first time you log in, you’ll be asked to setup Microsoft Authenticator. This is a mandatory requirement and cannot be bypassed. It’s designed to keep your account, your email, and your business information secure. Here’s more information on Microsoft Authenticator.
After you are logged in, you’ll immediately have access to both web versions and desktop versions of all your applications. Additionally, the first time you load Outlook, you’ll notice that all of your emails have been migrated from your previous email provider. Please use this Intro to Microsoft 365 as your guide to using Microsoft tools and applications. We continuously keep it up-to-date.
